MCVG-2 is always looking for qualified candidates. All recruits must adhere to the Group's Code of Conduct. See General Orders page.

A brief summary of MCVG-2.
We're a Marine Carrier Air Group based in the USS Gilbert Islands. Our 2 Squadrons do a variety of roles in the field. We use historical, personalized skins for our planes. We're only also loosely based around original command structures to ensure we have fun in the game. MCVG-2 is up there to have fun, not take it away!! We are looking for the best pilots who fit in with our squads. That doesn't mean we will take the absolute best, if they can't fit into the team atmosphere here.

Applicants should apply using the following format:

1. Current Hyperlobby Callsign
2. Your email address
3. Your age
4. Any contact you may have had with MCVG-2 pilots
5. Your approximate flying hours on IL2
6. Your favourite IL2 plane
7. Your overall flight sim experience
8. Any membership of previous squadron and any experience of positions of responsibility in them.
9. Any real life flight experince (Optional)
10. Any real life military experienced (Optional)
11. Your prefered 1st choice MCVG-2 Squadron
12. Your prefered 2nd choice MCVG-2 Squadron
13. Your prefered Personal Callsign
14. Blonds, Brunettes or Redheads?
15. What is the Airspeed Velocity of a migrating sparrow? (Optional. If you don't get it, don't worry)
16. Any other information that might be relevant

Candidate Pilots can expect the following procedure:

1. The Air Wing Adjutant will collate candidate applications and submit them for comment and review to:
    1a. Air Wing Commander
    1b. Air Wing Operations Officer
    1c. Squadron Commanders
2. Once the candidate has passed Initial Selection they will receive Enlistment Papers (Welcome Email) and the Selection Training outline.
3. Once the candidate has passed Selection Training, the Training Officer "Certifies" the candidate as a MCVG-2 Pilot fit for Operatinal Training.
4. The Pilot is sent to either the Fighter or the Bombing Squadron.
5. The Pilot's desired Squadron will be considered, but ultimatly the decision is based on the needs of MCVG-2.
